Did any non-targaryen valyrians ever have any prophetic dreams?

Daenys Targaryen the Dreamer had a prophetic dream showing the doom of valyria. 12 years later valyria was destroyed.

So, weren't there any non-targaryen valyrians who had same/similar dreams warning them about the doom of valyria? If they did then they would have likely moved out like the Targaryens.

Or are prophetic dreams limited to only targaryen valyrians ? (i know the starks, etc have prophetic dreams too but this post is regarding valyrians )

Or were these dreams sent via glass candle to only Daenys the dreamer?

Thoughts?

I believe that Dragonstone was already a Targaryen holding, even before Aenar moved the whole family and holdings there. I wonder if Daenys the Dreamer was on Dragonstone when she had this dream or if she was in Valyria.

If so, the closer proximity to Westerosi magical elements may have given Daenys the dreams of the Doom.

It was a Valyrian colony, but not sure that it was a Targaryen fiefdom prior to Aenar migrating there.

Dragonstone may originally have been property of the Freehold "State" and Aenar probably bought it with the proceeds of his sales in Valyria.

Yeah I figure it was pre-Targaryen because of the gargoyles/towers.

If Targs had that tech the Red Keep would look more akin to Dragonstone no?

I believe so.  Aenar sold his property and bought Dragonstone.

Daenerys seems to have this talent as well.

I'm guessing the dreaming talent is very rare.

And if they did might have built Valyrian roads in Westeros too.

The Targaryens were not the top tier of the 40  Valaryian dragonlords families, I'm guessing there was a caste system of sorts even among the Dragonlords. The top tier houses may have specialised in sorcery or construction, as well as being dragonlords. Which keeps the need to wed brother to sister more than just breeding more dragonlords...

Wonder what the original colonisers intentions was with Dragonstone? The volcano of the Dragonmont must have seemed a bit like the "home fires".

Not that we know of.  More might have taken the warning seriously had it came from more than one person.

We dont know a lot about Old Valyria.

But like sombody mentioned before the House Targaryen was never really powerful, so Glass Candles were if they were used by House Targaryen they were used by most of the other families. The probabilit  of only Daenys having this dreams is very unrealistic.

Maybe the other houses were very careless about threats. I mean Valyria was the biggest empire that ever existed. They had hundreds of dragons, a very big army and were rich af. Most of them very snobbish rich kids that believed life was a big party.

Did Velaryons arrive to Dragonstone archipelago before Targaryens, or with them?

About the use of glass candles: it is said that with glass candles, sorcerers can see across mountains, seas and deserts, give men visions and dreams and communicate with one another across half the world. Seeing some distance is confirmed in that Marwyn gets advance notice of Sam´s approach.

Does not mean sorcerors can see true future events. Any magicians with candles burning at the Doom might use it to see what precisely happened, from a safe distance, and send visions and dreams to others - but the visions would not be truth about future. They would be what the sorceror wants dreamer to see, and would not fix sorceror´s own ignorance of true future.
