Werthead Posted March 4, 2019 Share Posted March 4, 2019 He was a charistmatic frontman, although not a creative force in the band at all (all the music and I believe virtually all of the original lyrics were Liam Howlett's). What he did do was adopt an image that melded dance with punk, and gave the whole thing a tremendous energy. Promoting him and Maxim from dancers to singers and frontmen was a great, canny move. Interestingly, in real life he was apparently a perfect gentlemen and a smart guy with a wide knowledge of music.
