Opinion: Coolest Sounding Name

Recommended Posts

This is so subjective - but just wanted to see what folks think.

GRRM has a real talent for coming up with awesome sounding names.

My pick - Utherydes Wayn (who by my reckoning is still alive, too)

Honorable mentions to Vargo Hoat and Skahaz mo Kandaq

"Ygritte" is up there for me, sounds cool, easy to pronounce, but looks exotic on paper.

Is this bait? Go on, elaborate. I know you want to.

But on the bro. Did you notice that @kissdbyfire happens to be of the female gender?

Cool story sis seems like it would fit a wee bit better. No?

The one true answer is Rolly Duckfield . . . . But seriously, I'd have to go with Beric "The Lightning Lord" Dondarrion.

Yep! Dondarrion was the first name to pop in my head.

My personal favorite is Baelor “Breakspear” Targaryen.

Daenerys Stormborn and Daario Naharis. I also like Grey Worm a lot, great origin story. But, really

I didn't know kissbyfire was a damsel in distress, I figured she could hold her own.
A legitimate bastard coming to aid a girl kissed by fire ... are you guys Jon & Ygritte reborn? Perhaps Jon & Mel? Or even Jonsa? :P
