BigBoss1
Lets say it happens like the show. Would book robb marry a lowborn girl he deflowered or would he forget his honor?
James Steller
Probably not. Maybe he’d take her into his service, in case she gave birth to his bastard. But he wouldn’t marry her.

I think he cared because she was highborn. For all the honor he had he was still Robb Stark king in the north, he couldn’t have married a peasant. norwaywolf123
Then it would be a morganatic marriage. Meaning a marriage between two unequal parts. Children of such a marriage would not be born with their fathers status.
Petyr Lannister
Taking into account what happens in the show (he falls in love and THEN marries) maybe he would in this conditions: On 4/28/2019 at 1:36 PM, norwaywolf123 said: Then it would be a morganatic marriage. If she was a peasant he would probably take her into his service and raise the child to be a retinue considering he was raised to be honorable. Chris Mormont
No, because he would not have "dishonored her" if she was lowborn. Even though it seems like Jeyne was, at the very least, encouraged to pursue Robb but more likely instructed to seduce Robb by her mother, Robb feels that as the man it was his "fault" they had sex and thus he dishonored her since a highborn girl would never have sex unless married.
