So....does this mean Arya was the prince who was promised, then?

I'm only being half sarcastic. The other half is asking an actual question

Exactly how I'm feeling! My guess is the "same ending as the books" is only referring to who sits on the iron throne at then of ep6? There is 0 foreshadowing of arya being the world's saviour right?

Not as great an episode as I'd hoped.  Mostly dark and murky and increasingly hopeless until the last two minutes.  I couldn't really see much of what was going on.

Dead count?  Theon, Grey Worm (I think), Beric, Jorah, Melisandre.  Anyone else?

Bran was pretty much useless.

Most worthwhile moments were Sansa and Tyrion.

I don t think anyone knows. I have no idea why they thought that she should be the one to kill the NK in the way she did. Completly alone without anyone's help...

If TPTWP was about killing the night king then... yeah, guess so!

Honestly, I'm happy for it to be anyone except Jon (because Rhaegar Targaryen was a trash person who doesn't deserve to have any of his actions even slightly justified)

Arya's awesome anyways.

Who was usefull besides mel and beric? The dragons spent nearly the entire ep inside a fog!

I figured TPTWP was about bringing the Dawn/ending the second long Night which I equated with killing the Night King so...

Also yeah Rhaegar was trash

I've both loved and hated Arya but I love her this season

Edd

I feel like Dolorous Edd would have found some ironic appreciation in the fact that he was the first named character to die.

Lame episode. The books don't have a night king for a reason. Too easy.

And Mel & Arya never met in the books!!

So it was that simple?  All she had to do was stab him?  How did she get by all those White Walkers?

Good question.
