Ceejtank
So someone pointed out in a different thread blood magic hasn't been addressed yet in the show... Could the mountain be how they introduce that?
Anthony Pirtle
I think the only important thing that's going to happen regarding Clegane is getting killed by his brother.
Figdoni
What happened to the still-moving bits and pieces of the Wight they brought to Kings Landing? I'd be surprised if Qyburn hasn't been studying it in his lab... Though I don't think there's time for the show to have some kind of reanimated army... maybe he's managed to reanimate some of those dragon bones under Kings Landing? Larger than Average Finger
I wonder if in Killing the NK, magic might start fading in the world? It might Turn Bran back to Bran, might mean Jon will die and might diminish and kill the Dragons.

The Weirwood tree network, and its connected three eyed ravens, existed long before the NK. Dragons, Dragonglass, Valyrian steel etc.... all were before the NK. I don't think the NK is as important as people think.

There is also a lot of magic outside of Westeros that doesn't seem to have any bearing on the existence of the Night King.

I thought blood magic had been addressed in the show. Mirri Maz Duur used it to "save" Khal Drogo's life, Dany sacrificed Mirri in return and her dragons were born, Cersei visited the wood's witch who tasted her blood and foretold her future, and Melisandre fooled around with king's blood too (Gendry and the leeches, burning Shireen).
