Please, no.

I was going to say Sansa has no chemistry with Jon, but that's true of Danny as well. Egret was the only one he popped with.

Maybe there was a little something with Mel, but I chalk that up to superior acting on her part.

Carice played Mel so well for sure. I totally ship Jon and Mel (mostly because Mel is my favorite character and I like Jon) but Mel would have been very bad for him, especially given how easily show Jon seems to be led around by women.

Jon isn’t going to his castle is he?

He's going South, but Ghost could stay in Winterfell. The only reason Jon gives for sending him North is that direwolves belong up there.

I think B&W were very bold to keep Martin’s dragons in the show. Creatively it would have made much more sense to make Dany “Mother Of Mice”. At the end, in a a fit of madness she would unleash the last one standing on KL with a vicious: “Fluffy, go give Cersei some cholera!”.

Also diremice - or plain rats - are easier to send north with a kick in the ribs.

I was thinking about the final scene and how absurd it was that Dany brought her tiny little contingent within range of Cersei's scorpions and archers. It couldn't be described as anything other than a mistake on the part of the writers. If you take that as fact now as many commentators have, you have to wonder what were the writers trying to achieve. I think they were coming from the point of view of Cersei. They needed to give her a certain level of security when she executed Missandei thus triggering Daenerys (mad Queen) wrath in person. The problem they faced was how to temporarily nullify Daenerys in that scene. They weren't imaginative enough to come up with any scenario where Cersei and Daenerys exchange terms at a distance and experience Daenerys anger at Cersei executing Missandei. What would've been wrong in terms of plot progression with her sending Missandeis head to Daenerys on Dragonstone with a message like take your foreign horde back to Essos. It would've been perfectly plausible for it to send Daenerys into a genocidal rage they could have avoided that plot hole and saved a bunch of money on all that CGI of the battlements with all those super scorpions. The rather annoying aspect of it was the blatant clue that Cersei will be dead by the end of the next episode. They overcompensated in advance for Cerseis demise by staging that whole power show and execution. They had it in the back of their mind that Cersei is dead in the next episode and that is why they overlooked that gaping plothole. The question boils down to why didn't Daenerys die and the answer is of course because she wins next episode that is why. It is piss poor storyboarding.

Spinoff idea for HBO: Ramsay's Twenty Good Men vs. Eurine's electromagnetic rail gun fleet. Unstoppable force, meet immovable object.

You can't leave out Bronn's 10 Good Men. Or do they get their own series?

Throw the raven who flew from Eastwatch to Dragonstone in 12 hours or fewer in there, to.

The Hound to Sansa: ''Heard you were broken in. Heard you were broken in rough.''

WTF ?!?!?!?!

It's comments like the above from D&D that make me want to explode when people say the showrunners are pandering to "SJW MeToo Movement types" with their "strong female characters"; D&D clearly don't respect women. The above turns mild annoyance at a bad TV adaptation to outright anger in me.

Just completely done with Game of Thrones. Magic is gone. There is soo much I don't like that I don't even bother to write them down. But the magic is gone - now it's just drama and it's not interesting. Writers are cleary underestimating their audience by stupifying every logic.

Never forget, rape makes you stronger!

*ENORMOUS FACEPALM*

She carries the feeling of Ramsay inside her still. Which means she has the power not just of her Stark-Tully blood, but of Ramsay's penis and maybe the 20 Good Men who lived in Ramsay's heart. That's how rape makes her stronger.

Why are tyrion and Varys so certain that most powerful nobles would believe that Jon is Rhaegar's trueborn son? The evidence is laughable. "My weird brother and his best friend says so, the former saw it in a vision, and the latter found some random book in the Citadel".

Of course, this is one of the smallest problems with this mess of an episode. Everything is so idiotic. Euron's ballistas which put modern cannons to shame, Bronn's teleportation ability, Arya not telling anyone "BTW, I am an uber assassin and I am going to KL to kill Cersei, so stay tight and don't waste your armies until I am done", etc...

The last episode will end with Bran opening his eyes after his fall from the tower.

Bran not only dreamed of Big Sis getting raped, but himself committing a faux pas about how she looked shortly before her violation?

Not to mention how good his (presumed) half-brother was at oral sex?

Not exactly random. It was the guy's diary.

Is Howland Reed alive? Aside from him, the only real evidence is the fact that Jon could ride a dragon. But that's pretty impressive, isn't it?

I just realized something. Characters such as Sam, Tormund and Ghost have no bearing on the story anymore. They're out.

You know what I think they'll do? The cliche pan over epilogue of all these characters living their quiet lives, little Sam and Sam's own child more grown up...

Ugh.

So true but at least Tormund and his people get a happy ending. And I assume Sam is going to marry Gilly.  Or are we gonna have another Jon Snow running around. I expect that even if she gives birth in hornhill the writers will forget that the surname is Flowers. Like a certain Mr Rivers??? Seriously what was that about! Did they think the people who know about the bastard names of each region wouldn't notice!!

Can someone explain to me why Brienne, one of the greatest soldiers ever, isn't fighting at KL ? Heck, everyone at Winterfell should be there fighting.  Sansa should be there too behind the scenes. I mean if they lose the war, what is she think Cersei is gonna do ? Let her and the remaining 3-4 people live in peace at Winterfell ? Same goes for Tormund. Tormund should be out there fighting as well, if Cersei wins Tormund is a goner as well. It's so weird to me.Considering how small the army is they have now, and how Brienne and Tormund are worth dozens and dozens of fighters...you'd think they would join along. If someone has a good reasoning for why, I'll apologize. But that is just so illogical that my brain is hurting from thinking about it.

And Sam stole a bunch of random books and scrolls from the Citadel, right? So logically (hahahahaha) he should have grabbed that one as well. You know, thinking that it might be useful at some point. Certainly more usueful that the random stuff he took off random shelves, that as far as he knows could be just recipe books.

So my question is, when if Jon’s parentage becomes an issue, will Sam say, “hey, I have the proof right here”? Or will this issue be dealt w/ in some contrived and stupid way?

You know i would be all for Jon becoming king if D$D had built him up to be worthy of the throne but it really feels like over the years they have done more to hinder Jon's development with everything they themselves introduce. They keep having people say in universe how great he is but us the viewer only see a shell of what could have been. It has really gotten on my nerves that they never actually show Jon being a competent leader of men worthy of praise and admiration who inspires those around him to lay their lives down for a just cause. They just say it.

Seasons 5-7 made me lose all hope we would ever see a proper Jon Snow.

I was expecting shades of Aragorn and instead D&D gave us a submissive, spineless failure.

The marriage document or whatever, was about Lyanna and Rhaegar's marriage and the "annulment" (I still can't get over this shit) of his previous marriage. It says nothing of her being pregnant and no one, aside from Ned and Howland Reed&Wylla (who are irrelevant in the TV show) knows about Lyanna's baby.

In short, it only talks about their secret marriage. It has nothing to do with Lyanna having a baby. So logically Jon can't just say he's their son and people will buy his word. He could be an usurper.

But let's remember this is D&D, so all that doesn't matter.
