Lion of the West Posted May 20, 2019 Share Posted May 20, 2019 While we can make fun of this, its not like people like the Byzantine general and emperor Nikephoros II Phokas or the Finnish sniper Simo Häyhä were albinos despite being named as "White Death". But I agree that Balerion's scales should be black, but perhaps they artists decided that black wouldn't make enought of a contrast with the other colors in the picture, or something.
