Hodor the Articulate
Couldn't you just read ADWD? Or did you forget what happened in the previous books?

Dreadscythe95
If you don't wanna read the whole book series again then read from AFFC and google all the characters you don't remember, the internet will help you a lot.
House Cambodia
If you haven't read them yet, you could quickly read the Dunc & Egg books for a bit of light fun, then Fire and Blood for a deeper look at that period. But really, clear your schedules to read the 5 volumes from the start before tWOW is out (so you've got more than a year!) The thing is, there are so many layers of symbolism and subtle connections that a re-read will uncover so much that you never caught first time. However, before you get stuck in, I'd recommend thoroughly studying the background in A World of Ice & Fire.
