lancerman Posted May 27, 2019 Share Posted May 27, 2019 It's the Children of the Forest's symbol. The WW aren't strictly autonomous entities. They were weapons created by the COTF to combat man. They were effectively rogue soldiers of the COTF still trying to carry out the mission of defeating Men long after the war was over. There isn't much else to it. They take up the signs of their creators because they are still fighting the war they were created for.
