They can just fuck around and waste time until October and try to let us crash out without a deal, which I suspect is Boris's plan, with an intervening several months of bloviating in the meantime.

That's what worries me.

Asked my sister yesterday if she'd thought about going back to Scotland if it all goes tits up. Hell Yeah was the response. Which was a relief.

Ah, yes, sorry. That's rather telling, isn't it?. Just looked it up and saw that it is just the results that will be announced today.

Not really, different cou tries have always voted on different days.

Is it "telling" that the Netherlands voted on Thursday too? How about Ireland on Friday?

Of all the options; he probably is the best of a bad bunch. At least he's capable of sounding reasonable, even when he isn't.

It looks as if the Lib Dems will top the poll in Greater London.

The Brexit Party seems to knocking it out of the park in the North of England.

Are libs really winning in Islington?

Would be funny to see Corbyn banging on about people want to see Brexit thru after hsi own constituency essentially told him not to.

Also waiting for Lord Corbyn's Pet Leech to explain how his master is playing a clever political game and is doing what is best for Labour.

My guess is that Yougov have broadly got this right, Brexit Party on about 37% overall, Lib Dems on about 20% overall.

A person’s opinion on Owen Jones is a fairly good indicator of where they fall on the political spectrum

Yes. It's really no surprise he's not that popular in Mordor.

He and AOC should mate. Can you imagine how awesome their spawn might be?

ETA: Yes, I know he's gay, but I'm sure they could work something out.

The Brexit Party have come first in Stockton, Leeds, Newcastle, Chelmsford, Corby, Rugby.

Lib Dems first in Sutton and Lambeth.

That ‘kid’ is 35 years old - I was at school with him, and the only surprising thing about his career path since then is that he’s on the political journalism side of things rather than the actual politician side.

The difference is that hating marmite is a matter of opinion whereas disliking Owen Jones is a matter of being wrong.
