What would have happened had they lost? Probably. However, she might ride for the Wall and escape by ship back to Vale or Free cities. If only winter, like Tywin was expecting. Ned's daughter, mother of next lord Stark would find exile in the Vale, or many other great houses. Her Blood still has value.
