End of Disc One Posted September 16, 2020 Share Posted September 16, 2020 I thought AMoL was monotonous and exhausting as well. Though the Last Battle chapter was pretty good. I've loved some other long battles as well, like in The Unholy Consult. I guess I'm okay with 300 pages of battle as long as it's not too monotonous. Read another chunk of BG last night and it's more of the same. Butcher tries to offer some tidbits of information in every chapter or so, but it's still just Harry and co fighting a panoply of bad guys non-stop.
