Remco looked great hopefully there is a good competition between him and Roglic at the Giro, they seem to be the top 2 favourites by some margin. Someone else might lift to that level but I can't see it happening. After the Vuelta I think Remco will have learnt some big lessons to take forward into other grand tours and his team is stronger support this year.

Geraint Thomas is 3rd favourite, he is a great TT'er, but he's getting on a bit (and you could see how big the gap between him and Pog and Vingegaard was last year, though i think if had to he could have closed the gap a bit.  But there was no point, he was never going to catch them and was pretty safe in 3rd).

TGH also looked good in the Tour of the Alps, but 70+ KM of TT means he is likely at least 3 minutes down on Remco and Roglic, i can't see him making that up in the mountains against them 2.
