Cricket 35: Bat first, bat often

The eleven for Ireland looks a batsman light with Leach and Stone in place of Buttler and Stokes. It suggests Burns, Roy and Denly is fixed as the top three for Edgbaston. A little harsh on Dom Sibley - especially from those saying Roy is only in because there is nobody else when he is averaging 62 in the County Championship.

Surely it's hard to be too upset when Australia has won 5 WCs already (including all but one since 1996)?

I think it's good to share the love around a bit...especially if NZ win it!

A random question: how on earth did Kenya make it to the semi-finals of the 2003 World Cup? I was looking at some old results and this caught my eye. Bizarro. I don't even remember that!

NO WE LOST AND WE DIDN'T even USE SANDPAPER AND WE DIDN'T WIN THAT ONE AS WELL NO

Looking at the 17 wickets in a day congrats you got the world cup and ashes

I wouldn't be too pessimistic. England are very capable of losing this Ashes series!
