At the end of the episode, Cersei is face to face with Tyrion, Daenerys, Varys and Grey Worm, most of the commanders on Daenerys’ side. She has a whole bunch of ballistae trained on them and could wipe out the opposing leadership in one stroke. So why doesn’t she do it? It isn’t like she’s above such ruthlessness; she blew up the Great Sept out of spite, and was going to have the entire opposing side taken out during peace talks if she felt like things weren’t going her way.
