u.s. politics: sundowning on the american empire

Recommended Posts

As Amanda Marcotte, who grew up in El Paso, points out on her twitter feed, the guy chose to make the long drive from his home in Dallas -- the fracking shyte hole of the USA -- to El Paso -- where brown people live.  It is so disgusting.  This guy was still, essentially a kid, and his life was so rotten that all he could think to do with it was take a crazy drive with guns to kill totally innocent people.  This country is insane.

BTW, Marcotte's aunt had just left Walmart 15 minutes before this started.  She spent huge amounts of time growing up in that associated mall.

We are going to see more and more and more of this as the election gets closer and even more so after the election, no matter what the results turn out to be.

Are they calling it a false flag yet?

no it will simple be “be grateful for our cops” >”don’t politicize this” > “don’t share his manifesto/footage of arrest/other info” > “it was a senseless act of evil” > “loner, mental health issues/he seemed like such a good boy no one saw this coming”

eta: @Bonnot OG twitter suspended the account, shocking

The FBI can't determine if this was federal hate crime, a federal crime of domestic terrorism, or just some wteff. Nor can they determine if the hate manifesto about latinx and Democrats has anything  whatsoever to do with the killer's actions.  It's far too early to tell. They Say (read this in The NY Times).

Like all the rest of you I'm feeling so sick I don't know what to do tonight.  Weep, swear, throw up -- what good is any of that?

Ya -- the gamification, and decades of hate and the constant urging to repeat and proliferate this on those sites -- they should be shut down.  Beat Timothy McVeigh's score!  Gods.

There are reports now that some of the wounded haven't gone for medical treatment because they are too scared of the cops and ICE, etc.

Sounds like the FBI that is headed by a Trump appointee. It’s clear as fucking day what this was, they’re just afraid of naming it that because it will mean Trump supporters are fucking terrorists and bigots.

The s.o.b. said in his manifesto that 'there's no shame in going after low-hanging fruit' ie families in a shopping mall on Saturday morning.

And that one of the things he was angry about was that with the immigrants in Texas, Texas might go Democrat.

Think about that one. Gunmen showing up at shopping malls because the state might vote Democrat.
