Is Bosa MVP thus far, I think it's high time a D player gets that honor for a change, would be nice.

Obviously, I love the Niners.  But Bosa isn’t even a lock for defensive rookie of the year.  Josh Allen from Jacksonville has similar and maybe slightly better numbers.  Bosa has the advantage of playing on a team with a lot of notoriety.

It should be noted that Bosa was playing on a bum ankle the first three games of the season too, which I think people are taking into account.  If he keeps up the pace he's been on since being fully healthy, he'll have a good shot at DPOY.  But that's only a four game sample, and I think people may be overreacting this week after his 3 sacks in a half/ridonculous interception performance on Sunday.  Hopefully he keeps it up tonight!

It’s rare a defensive player can win a team more games than a position who has the ball in their hands all the time. Doesn’t make them less deserving but it’s like Heisman voting. Woodson was the last defensive player in college to win it and that was largely in part to him returning kicks and I think he even might have had some snaps at WR also.

Kittle went under the knife, but it seems cleared up and shouldn’t be too bad. Alexander, though, torn pec, done for the year. Whichever 49ers pissed on the god of injuries statue a few years back, I hope you’re fucking happy.

Was posting on Kwon at the same time you were.  Sucks.

ETA:  And it has been bad.  Going all the way back to the defensive line injuries that derailed the Super Bowl year and then the early retirements and then Bowman having his knee shredded.  :crying:

Yeah, aside from cb, the injuries have been stacked on the offence which has at least meant we could lean on the D.

Now...they really shouldn’t be able to be doing this with their 4th and 5th tackles, guard, back up rbs, missing their all pro fb, missing 2/3 wrs every week, Kittle on the verge of not playing several games...at some point you have to hit a tipping point. Let’s hope this isn’t it, because he’s our best lb by a mile.

He is, and we are hitting the tough stretch of the schedule with Seattle, GB, Baltimore, and New Orleans as the next four. :worried:

Pornstar Jimmy doing Pornstar Jimmy things. He's giving her a look too. $5 says she's already knocked up.

And hey, I'm finally buying in on your team. I still don't know how good Jimmy is, but he's good enough to win an Owl so long as he doesn't need to be the tip of the spear.
