Angel Eyes Posted November 26, 2019 Share Posted November 26, 2019 Looking back at this season, I'm surprised that Cersei never attempted to have Sansa killed, since in her mind she helped Tyrion kill Joffrey. It's like she forgot about Sansa completely. It takes her until Episode 5 to learn that it was Olenna, that's plenty of time for her to have sent a catspaw. Mystical Posted November 30, 2019 Share Posted November 30, 2019 LF first promised Cersei to deal with Sansa. Then Cersei had her hands full with the Faith until the end of S6. And then a Targ with a massive army and dragons landed literally right next door. She had much more urgent problems than Sansa and her revenge on her for Seasons 5-7. However one might see Cersei's invitation to Sansa to come to the KL meeting as Cersei's attempt to get Sansa within her range. Sadly for Cersei, Sansa wasn't her naive self anymore and knew better.
