Anthony Appleyard Posted December 31, 2019 Share Posted December 31, 2019 I feel that any movie version of "Fire and Blood" should start at the beginning, and not just before the Dance of the Dragons starts. I feel that it should start with a short look at Valyria before the Doom; then go to the Targaryen household in Valyria, and to Aenar Targaryen, and Daenys and her prophetic dream, and the family evacuating to Dragonstone and settling there. Then a quick look at the passage of time, and the Targaryens and their dragons dying over time of natural causes and being succeeded by their descendants; and leading to Aegon's Conquest, then etc as in the book. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_%26_Blood_(novel) says that this movie will be called "House of the Dragon". Ran Posted December 31, 2019 Share Posted December 31, 2019 House of the Dragon is a television series, not a movie, and all evidence suggests it concerns itself with the period leading up to and including the Dance of the Dragons rahter than being a complete history.
