Just too eager / transparent for a High Sparrow who focuses on repenting. You guys should really just adopt all of my readings and views on characters. It would make this game far, far easier. Petyr may say it himself, but it seems he only loves the idea of having Cat for himself. He doesn't care for her well-being beyond that (which would be a sign of real love). It makes sense to me, as in Petyr is all about Petyr, or Petyr is only in it for Petyr. I know, it's weird, me trying to explain a wording that doesn't click, as it has happened to me several times in this game. I do feel your frustration - I've had my share and then some.
