This also suggests to me that the conventional wisdom being passed around in Boston: "Mookie definitely wants to hit free agency" and "Mookie's demands are too high" was just bullshit. Oh well. GrimTuesday Posted July 25, 2020 Share Posted July 25, 2020 Fun facts about this years Mariners team: 1: They are youngest team in baseball 2: Their opening day roster only has two outfielders on it, 3: A player on their roster touched my butt once (not in a bad way) 4: They are the most diverse 30 man roster with 9 African Americans on the team 5: They have the biggest bestest boy Danial Vogelbach who had the lowest swing rate in all of MLB last season. 6: It entirely possible they only win 10 games this season because they are really fucking bad. The Mariners are so bad that I'm probably going to post more in these threads this year because I don't care about jinxing their success, because I'm pretty sure they aren't going to have any.
