namasikanam
In Chapter 31, Melisandre I, Mance said that Spoiler "...Snow's been assuming the free folk would turn to Tormund to lead them, because that's what he would do. He liked Tormund, and the old fraud liked him too." I'm confused here. Who's "the old fraud"? Qhorin? Mormont?
Ran
Tormund is the "old fraud".
Melifeather
I agree that the "old fraud" is Tormund. Mance is saying that Tormund liked Jon, but what strikes me the most is that Mance called Tormund a "fraud". IMO that's very interesting!

Because Tormund likes to tell those outrageous stories, about his member, about the she-bear, etc etc.

I think Mance is using “old fraud” as a term of endearment because as @kissdbyfire said Tormund was teller of tall tales. I don’t think there’s anything sinister or a deeper meaning in Mance’s comment.
