I'm starting to think Arteta is a bad manager.

Too early to tell.

Performances over results, imo. Even though it is early, you can tell that our performances *generally* have gotten better and more pleasing than basically all of Emery's time/ last few wenger years at Arsenal. I defo think there are areas he can improve on though.

We're going to have set backs, and this is the first real one of Arteta's time so far but it's a new manager & a thin squad atm.

Such a terrible team.

Teams not that bad but it was a poor performance from Arsenal. Still can't believe Auba missed that sitter in the dying seconds.

He's bailed us out plenty so I won't be too harsh on him. Laca on the other hand

I think since the break we have done mostly well, we got punished for not taking our chances over both legs. And we've been bad at taking chances all season, it was going to come back to us at some point. ( Our xG for example was 3.8 compared to 1.3 for Olymp)

They played so deep all game, and that's perfectly understandable but the game panning out the way it did can happen when you're playing against a team like that.

I think if Martinelli plays that game instead of Laca, we probably win it in normal time.  It's going to be a process!

Oof that's good.

Also, if chelsea, leicester & united could collapse in the league that would be lovely.

It's possible you'll never see a better-hit volley than this.

I honestly think my hip would pop out if I did that.

Giroud missed a sitter from a fine Alonso cross. Nice finish by the latter in the first half. He really goes from heel to hero and back to heel quicker than anyone on the team.

Is there any reason why Allan Saint-Maximin didn't start for Newcastle?

Because we love a good 0-0 draw.

I've got to go out so I won't be able to moan all match I'm afraid, so I'll just leave it at this-

Yet another poor start to a match from Liverpool. Our passing has been dreadful. Watford look dangerous; we do not.
