And even if the spread of the virus stopped dead tomorrow, it still has 2-3 weeks for the already-infected to burn through the stages of the virus, so regardless of what happens, the NHS is very much not going to have a boring time for the next few weeks. True, I'm just not entirely relishing being stuck indoors for weeks, thank goodness I have my music studio to keep me occupied when I've got a break from looking after the kids. williamjm
The BBC are reporting that Sports Direct have declared themselves an essential business and are therefore going to keep their shops open. I suspect the Government is not going to agree with that.

I really hope this is over before you get to beat eany of those tomatoes. Oh if you want fast germination, Stick a ball of wet kitchen roll in a jam and sprinkle seeds on that. Put the lid on to stop it drying out and stick in a warm place. Check every day, carefully remove any germinated before the roots grow too much and plant, keep the leafs just above soil. Pebble thats Stubby
hmmm, I just checked on the stuff I put away for brexit. (I planned to have 30 days of food in tins and pasta and rice.) the pasta and rice are fine, are in the house. was gonna use that up and supplement with fresh veggies if I can get them. The Tins I stored in a shed was planning to take them out if the weather got warm. it seems we had a leak and all the labels are no longer on the tins. there are far worse problems, but we are gonna have some strange meals. I have removed the tins from the plastic box full of rain water, and I'm sorting into what looks the most rusty. we will eat these first (if the inside is also rusty I guess we have to throw it away.) Did you never do that deliberately? Take labels off your tins so you don't know what you're getting? Is it a tin of beans? Tomato soup? Sweetcorn? The excitement is palpable! Pebble thats Stubby
oh the cat food was in a separate cupboard and untouched by my label stripping brother. this was a deliberate choice by Mum to drive the lesson home. It worked.
