If they're not willing to work then they die. Slavery can't be replaced. The Ghiscari had it all going their way at the expense of the many. If they have to perish to keep Meereen free, so be it. It's not like they feel remorse. The economy is not complicated. Those ex-slavers can do the work their slaves used to do. Blisters and calluses might even teach them a little character.
