What sort of man would betroth their daughter to a man known for a brutal rape and murder of highborns and is heavily implied to have murdered his previous two wives, his father (who favored him) and his sister, plus burning his brother? zandru Posted March 29, 2020 Share Posted March 29, 2020 I've often wondered this myself. Maybe some Lannister bannerman at the insistence of Lord Tywin? Maybe Tywin judged that he had to throw a bone or two to his mad dog? And/or wanted to punish that particular bannerman? With Tywin Lannister, it's never as siimple as either or.
