How likely is a Jon/Sansa match (aka Jonsa)?

IMO as bad as a first cousin you grew up w/ thinking you were siblings. Which applies to both Sansa and Arya btw, in case I didn’t make my feelings about incest clear enough!

And yes, I know there’s lots of sibling on sibling incest among the Targs (and their “blood purity The Dragon does not mingle w/ lesser creatures” bs)  in the books, but I really, really, really don’t think George “I am a mongrel” Martin is going to make that a good thing. Call me crazy.

@Ibbison from Ibben You made a good point about the importance of dress and colour especially in Sansa's story. What do you make of Sansa's clothing choice when she escapes the Purple Wedding? 

She chose a dress of thick brown wool. The bodice was decorated with freshwater pearls, though. The cloak will cover them. The cloak was a deep green, with a large hood. She slipped the dress over her head, and donned the cloak, though she left the hood down for the moment.

Not a lot, frankly. The brown dress could indicate she has taken the first step toward her Alayne phase. I'm aware many people think the green cloak is actually Sandor's formerly white cloak, but I'm not sure Sansa is really into dyeing. That was generally work for specialists, like Lommy. I'll keep an open mind on that, though. The cloak hides the pearls - I have no idea what that could mean symbolically.

agreed IMO otherwise there wouldn't be Cersei and Jaime- IMO this is his most informative commentary about incest.

I mean Tyrion also has a problematic, unhealthy relationship with love, sex and women probably mainly caused by having been raised by Tywin IMO the same goes for Cersei and Jaime. It wouldn't have happened in a loving, healthy family

I don't think Jon is going to know about Bran's feelings toward Meera. Nor will Meera. She hasn't figured it out yet. Bran is likely to keep it a secret, and he will be the one to step back. We'll have to wait and see (hopefully). Like i said, I think it's going to be a tough book for Bran.

@Alyn Oakenfist Jon doesn't want to be King in the North. He wants to be a Stark and Lord of Winterfell. To have a lady wife and legitimate children. He wants to belong and be validated. His dreams are very specific. In fact it's so specific it would be a cop out if he doesn't end up getting what he wants in the end. And this is why I am in favor of Sansa and Jon ending up together. They validate each other's very specific dreams. In terms of symbolism (association with the Bael the Bard tale, key to the North, rebuilding Winterfell, Lady being buried in Winterfell) Sansa is the most likely Stark to be the ruler of Winterfell. And if she is and marries Jon in the end she gives exactly what he wanted from day one. And Jon in return gives what she wanted from day one. In my opinion this is a logical conclusion to their respective arc.

Hm, lets see she had three crushes up until she is 13. Waymar, Joff, Loras That's not even much at all. She probably had even more and most kids have, don't they? I mean thinking about myself and my friends...

And Loras was more like her pop star crush- like Justin Bieber. Normal teenage girls have hundreds of those. And Waymar was like your  big brother's hot best friend, that you'd never talk to, but see around and "be in love with"

We don't know what the Unkiss is really about yet. Maybe it has something to do with magic and is an actual memory. Then that's not her fault at all.

And if it's just a fantasy- then again that's not weird at all lol  Girl gotta day-dream a bit, nothing weird about that. She doesn't have netflix to look at cute boys, just songs- and marillion has ruined them for her.

I simply don't see it, the "evidence" is  molded to the pairing, they are siblings and they barely think of each other.

No, it shows that she is very much into Waymar Royce, looks are just not defined by color hair and  color eyes alone, and i don't even believe the hair colour match, i don't remember Sansa being into horse faces. 

Btw, Jon looks heavily like their father, but a lot. So, not only would she be falling for her brother but also with her father... Elektra at display here...

It's true up to a point but no one, not even Jon, comes close to the shipping level of Sansa. I mean you have Sandor, Jon, Tyrion and LF as the most popular. Then there are fringes like Willas or fAegon. Then she's also shipped with daddy characters Tywin, Roose and Stannis. The thing that has actors in it also added Margaery, Theon and even Ramsey ( ) to the pool. Jon doesn't even hold a candle to that. So while he gets paired a lot, it's with a small number of women (and Satin lol). And lucky him, it's a lot less icky, perverted, skeevy and sick on his side of the ship pool.

I'm against it and all but Sansa/Jon looks like a good deal and normal/healthy compared to 95% of the characters Sansa gets shipped with. Thanks fandom.
