Julia H.
ROUND 1 I hope everyone is well and ready to start. You will find the list of clues below. There will be a preliminary guessing round for both the characters and the theme. The theme is pretty easy and straightforward, nevertheless, you will find a bonus character clue as a special hint for the theme. Please, note that this character does not fall into the category of the theme, but you can find a quote somewhere in the books where this character directly mentions the theme and makes this connection between some of the characters in the list. You won’t get points for solving this bonus clue; however, you can get an extra theme point for providing the quote. At the end of the round, there will be a vote for favourite clues. The clues: 1. Obfuscatorily protected. Was greatly resented. Exile demanded. 2. Efficiently mends dangerous arrow trauma. 3. Observed parental wreckage. Grief really ended devotion. 4. Escapee: motherhood's demise amidst tempest. 5. Embraces murder. "Dullard". Allegiance trusted. 6. ”Elephants, mountains: dragon appropriate tool.” 7. Official poll: who's green, red, essentially dead? 8. Ominous peach wrought grimaced reply, eventually death. 9. Emancipation made dame a tonalite. 10. Exceptionally meek, dominated, affectionate tot. Bonus clue: Jest(?): Torch celestial! Theme: ??? Deadline: Thursday, April 16th (8 p.m. Central European Time). And so, the first round of Acrophilia #21 begins!

Eternally_Theirs
A marvel. A marvel indeed. I figured out the theme on my first try. Now I only have to fit that annoying clue 7 right in and I am done.
Ser Not Appearing
I'll let you know if I hate it after I figure it out ... but Clue 7's form is pretty good. I think I know two of these off the top of my head. Be jealous!
Julia H.
A hint about Clue #7: It should be interpreted as referring to something that is currently (as of the latest storyline, the actual timeline of the books) true.
Castellan
hmm i thought i had #7 and it was a great clue. don't think i do now. i think without that hint my answer was OK.

Dolorous Gabe
Something lurks Had I known I'd have tried harder till now (allegedly) Hello there
Julia H.
A warning: It seems I had better tell you all that one of the characters in this round is significantly more obscure than the others - although it is still a character you all know about and remember (I'm pretty sure of that). The clue itself is quite straightforward, and, if you read it carefully, weighing the meaning of each word and considering other characteristics as well, you will probably see that there is an answer that is much better than any other possibilities.
