He was an amazing actor and Omar is probably one of the greatest characters on television ever. RIP Definitely one of the most iconic characters in tv history. JGP
Sure, Omar, but his portrayal of Leonard in Hap and Leonard was amazing, IMO. Fantastic dynamic between him and Purefoy. There aren’t many celebrities that got buy in from me, as actors and people, but Mike had it. Really sad news. edit: @larrytheimp I'm sure that reaction was an accident, right
Mark Antony
He was great in anything. What a presence
RumHam
He was great in everything I saw him in. Boardwalk Empire, The Night Of, Lovecraft Country. Omar is an iconic character but I think he was better as Chalky white on Boardwalk.

Ran
Oh my god. Just saw this news. What a terrible loss. Williams had such presence and power on screen. Like everyone else, I never saw him do anything but give stellar, memorable performances. What a tragedy for his friends and family. May he rest in peace. WarGalley
Wow. Woke up to this news after watching Omar clips last night. Pretty much liked Michael K. Williams in everything he was in, even when they were just bit roles. He will definitely be missed. RIP.

I started watching The Wire again after hearing this news. Brilliant right from the start. What a loss.
Teng Ai Hui
Very sad news. It's been too long since I watched The Wire. It's time to do a rewatch.
dbunting
That sucks. I loved him in everything I saw him in. He was someone you genuinely believed was his character, not acting like a character.

DireWolfSpirit
The Night Of, the Wire and Chalky White on Boardwalk Empire. This feels like Gandolfini, in that way where you always thought another great performance was in the pipeline..... We were spoiled. R.i.p.
