I'm not sure how one defines "A-lister", but Olivia de Havilland is a few months older than Kirk Douglas and is still alive as of this moment.

Her Award collection definately justfies putting her in the A-Lister category.

And now we've lost Olivia de Haviland as well. RIP.

Wilford Brimley at 85. The Thing is one of my all time favorite movies (probably top 5 as far as horror goes).

RIP

RIP Sir Alan Parker. I don't even know which of his films was the best. The Wall, Mississipi Burning, the Commitments, ...

Maybe not his best, but I’m a big fan of Angel Heart.

The man seemed ageless -- like he came into the world old and was going to be old for the rest of eternity. And yet he was young at heart, as his last tweet shows:

Susan Ellison, wife of the late Harlan Ellison, passed away this weekend. Way too young -- 60, or near enough. Ellison wrote a story titled "Susan" that the official website has put up, and it's very Ellisonian and poignant. From everything I've heard, she was a lovely person, well-liked by all.

Roberta Pournelle, wife of the late Jerry Pournelle, also passed away at the age of 85. RIP.

Wow. Chadwick Boseman apparently died. Thought he was going to be a main pillar of the next phase of the MCU and a seriously rising star. RIP.

Just saw that.  Said he’d had colon cancer for four years.  I had no idea.  Really made me sad.

Like you, I thought he was the next star of the MCU.
