Things that didnt make sense to you in the show thread.

Two things that come to my mind are.

When The Hound is removed from the Brothers secret hideout.... he is escorted with a hood over his head I Imagine so he cant find see the location and every find them.

Yet when Arya runs away he is magically nearby to snatch her.... this makes no sense for two reasons this was a long time after he had left not sure of the exact time scale but since he left... the whole Gendry being taken by Stannis happened so i would think at least a day and im sure when the Brotherhood removed him they didnt just plop him right outside the hideout they would have taken him miles away or the hood is pointless.

So how did he end up right outside their hideout to take Arya ?

Second one whe Robb had to apologize to ALL of Walders girls and grandchildren where was the eventual bride of Edmure ? was she just removed from the scene to add to the surprise of how attractive she is later ? understandable for the plot but not so for the realism of Walder requesting the apology to all his Daughters...

What things did you noticed ?

A relatively minor quibble compared to the rest of the problems in "The Bells", but if we go by the show's logic: After Drogon flies through a fireball Daenerys should be naked because while she is fireproof, her clothes are not. Now that could have been a sight.

Ahh yes i had the same complaint in Harry Potter when any of the Mauraders would transform into their animal they would appear amongst a pile of their clothes however when they transformed back they would be fully clothed lol

It was inconsistent; Wormtail's clothes are left behind when he transforms but Sirius' are not.

Another quibble: why did Trystane choose to face Nymeria instead of Obara? If you look at the fight footage Obara is clearly the worse fighter between the two of them; she can barely hold her own with a one-handed man and gets maybe one blow against Euron before he pokes her full of holes.

Why did Dany burn down an entire city when her only beef was with Cersei.

It made sense to me for three reasons (three, because it's complex). First, the scripts tried to explain this as Dany looking at the Red Keep and suddenly getting enraged, but what they never bothered to connect this to was this line in Dany's first chapter:

Quote

“Dany had only meant their rooms in Illyrio’s estate, no true home surely, though all they had, but her brother did not want to hear that. There was no home there for him. Even the big house with the red door had not been home for him.

So something happens to make her change her thoughts on this whole King's-Landing-is-home idea. I can see the line repeating in ADOS: "There was no home there for her."

Second, one factor that made her change is that civilians just didn't support her (and in fact chose Cersei over her). Her past kills included people who didnt support her so this is more of the same. Knowing that she doesn't have the people's support, she decided that she would rule through dragon terror - "Fear it is."

Finally, Dany was sending out all kinds of signals that she was going to go off like a top. "Speaking to Cersei will not prevent a slaughter. But perhaps it's good that the people see that Daenerys Stormborn made every effort to avoid bloodshed and Cersei Lannister refused. They should know whom to blame when the sky falls down upon them."

That line is remarkable because it's the language of abusers - not taking any responsibility, blaming others for her actions, "look what you made me do." Killing Missandei clearly "woke the dragon" which means abusive behavior incoming. So it's more than just taking vengeance on 1 dude. It's about teaching people lessons with excessive punishment.

What didnt make sense to me was Jon being punished for killing a tyrant and the punishment sticking somehow because of whatever said tyrant's Captain of Eternal War wants...then he sails away.

Also Tyrion's reasoning to make Bran king didn't make sense - even though I can see Bran becoming king - I still dont understand why he chose those words. Like literally any other explanation would have been better.

And overall, the whole Dany as fireproof didn't make sense and was pointless. It also fucks with the spinoff. What are they gonna do for HotD? Just have Rhaenyra being eaten instead of burned and eaten? And Aegon, is he not going to have burns all over his body?

Depends on what Jon did and where Grey Worm was right after he killed Daenerys. We don’t know since the scene cuts to weeks, even months later.

For Rhaenyra: maybe for Daenerys it’s because of something more than being Targaryen. After all Viserys couldn’t withstand the heat of molten gold.

Another question: where were all the flammables during “The Long Night”? That would have been a great visual having somebody pour oil/pitch off the side of Winterfell, drop a torch down and have a number of wights go up in flames.
