Did y'all upload your stuff directly through Amazon or link to it from elsewhere? (Now that major edits are done I have to start thinking about everything else, including formatting and distribution. Honestly have never felt so tired and depressed.)

 Don't worry! The days of difficult self-publishing are totally over! I just used a simple LibreOffice document with Kindle Create. All you have to do is this - https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US/help/topic/GYVL2CASGU9ACFVU

Thank you so much! Another question if you don't mind: On the front cover I listed me and my co-authors under pseudonyms for a few reasons (space, sound more pulpy, our real names are on the back cover I'd also commissioned) but in the book itself (including copyrights), was planning to just use our real names. Would that cause problems?

No idea about "problems" (you mean like legal problems?) but that would be confusing for the reader. Whichever author name/s will be listed on Amazon should be what's on the cover. Otherwise, people will hesitate to buy since the cover author name and listed author name are different. It would look like someone accidentally uploaded the wrong book!

On the back matter there is an "About ____" page where you can include a line saying "_____ (pen name), whose real name is _____, lives in Nebraska with his two dogs, three cats, and one parakeert." if you want to put your real name.

In that case, I'll see if the original artist is willing to make a change so long after the fact. Do you think if I list my name followed by "and others" (because its an anthology featuring five writers, including myself) that would be acceptable?

What legal problems are you afraid of, by the way?

I'm a Law grad and I have no idea why you're so worried. . .

The front cover I commissioned lists me and my co-authors by pseudonym (Duck, Spoon, and Friends) but I'm pretty sure that's not how my co-authors want to be listed inside the book, especially when it comes to copyrights, so I was wondering if changing that part of the front cover to my actual name plus "and others" would work instead. Also, the reason I'm so worked up is more because I tend to overthink and obsess about stuff when I get stressed or excited. (Exams don't help sadly.)

Nah, just put everyone's names on the cover! I mean, like this https://www.amazon.com/Beyond-Pale-Anthology-Jim-Butcher/dp/0989448738

It's not hard! The first thing to do is to make an account at http://kdp.amazon.com/.

Then make sure you have your tax info all correct. I know it's a pain, but I'm sure we all know the saying that "in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes." (I have no idea how this works if there are multiple authors, sorry!)

Then you simply take your docx file and cover file, then upload those two on Amazon. This works if your docx is already formatted (with all the pages like title page, copyright pages, back matter, etc). Otherwise, you can either use Kindle Create or another service. Most people use Kindle Create. I prefer Reedsy - https://reedsy.com/write-a-book

Just make sure you don't click on "publish" on KDP until you've checked the previewer. You can launch the previewer on the KDP page where you upload your manuscript.

Thanks. Figuring that stuff out right now. Got a hold of my original cover artist, who agreed to change the pseudonyms on the front cover to our real names. They also agreed to turn the original back cover into a second front cover. Was thinking of using the first for the digital version and the second for the print-on-demand version if that ever ends up happening but my editor, rightfully, pointed out that might confuse potential customers into thinking one version's fake so now I need to decide between the two.

Version 1: https://artistsnclients.com/uploads/5jo/jobs/641611_Ebook%20cover%201.png?0
Version 2: https://artistsnclients.com/uploads/5jo/jobs/642273_Ebook%20cover%20back.png?0

Any preferences?

Cover 1! Oh, sorry I'm late, but it's fine since everyone voted for that one. :) Oh my, covers are insanely difficult to decide on, lol!

Here are a few of my cover drafts - https://imgur.com/MVu1PKf

That's only eight of the more than twenty cover designs I made!

I'd say the first, third, or eighth. Out of those, the third.
