I still have no clue.

"Ragged Standard"? "Stormbreakers"? I've read all five books 7 times and I don't recall either of those.

If a group of fighting men led you to think of mercenaries you could have looked up mercenaries in the wiki and found the list of them with Ragged Standard second from the top. I thought that one was obvious to solve without pen and paper and would confirm it was mercenaries so a bit more work would get you to Stormbreakers.

I didn't remember either of those - I got them from the wiki. Maybe it destroys the artfulness of the game to do that.

Research is fine, it's just not something I think of with anagrams. Looking up mercs would have been smart.

eta: Rocksniffer #2 looks like Shagga son of Dolf

#3 has me baffled at present

"Clattering" sounds like "Rattleshirt" - which it clearly is not.

"Loud" made me think of Patchface - again, no. Nor Moon Boy nor Ser Dontos - since the word "fool" is makeable there . . . left hand Lew is not someone I would have remembered, so perhaps this another obscure madam or fellow?

Actually, it is Rattleshirt. Or more specifically, his other alias, Lord of Bones.

...well done

Yeah. Why did it take so long, though...?
