I mean I'd go as far as to theorize that Daeron was Aemon's seed. Aemon may have allowed himself to die, in the process of saving his brother because of the guilt he carried. But Viserys was not going to allow his first son to marry someone else when there was a perfectly eligible sister available. As for the realm, there probably wouldn't have been King Daeron the Good (bad) but that's probably more than cancelled out by the fact there likely wouldn't be multiple Blackfyre rebellelions.
