Why would you want Juve to keep getting the best talent from lower teams in the league. Be like hoping Bayern get Sancho or Havertz :D (unless you support Juve lol

There you go :D

Btw, Juve is in dire need of good midfileders. We are still mourning Pogba (and Pirlo, Vidal, Marchisio, etc.)

Yeah for sure. Signing all those average guys on frees was never gonna replace that midfield. How do Juve fans feel about Sarri? Could see him going for Jorginho again since Lampard doesn’t seem to rate him that highly

Well, most of the fans can't suffer him and want him gone as soon as possible, but all agree that the biggest problem is the amount of mediocre players you mentioned.

Jorginho would only generate loud groans, if Paratici manages to get rid of the dead weights the best thing would be buying young talents and/or top players.

Arthur should work out. At the very least it was good business to swap him for Pjanic considering their ages

Fans were not particularly happy with the price tag attached to the C. Ronaldo package tho.

Werder Bremen's sporting director has confirmed that the club are in talks with United for Chong. Earlier reports said it will be a loan deal.

Makes sense. Solksjaer's still got his wrinkles to work out but credit where it's due he's so far been very good at giving youth a chance and mostly taking on the ones that work and realising who doesn't. Going on the appearances they did get Chong is enthusiastic more than anything else and Angel Gomes just really didn't have the presence or speed of reaction to break into the team, so both sales are good for everyone really.

The ref and the VAR in the Juve/Lyon game are complete and utter morons. Two shockingly poor penalties awarded.

In fairness later replays showed the Lyon one was bang on- there was a touch on the trailing leg that knocked it into his standing leg so it looked like he tripped himself but he didn't.

In that regard, we are splitted. Some (not me) feel that it was a mistake to hire Ronaldo, on the other hand others (me included) feel that we are wasting him and the real problem is the money spent on huge wages to zombies (Khedira, Higuain, Costa, Ramsey...) and third rate players (Bernardeschi, Matuidi, Danilo..)

Ronaldo is a huge investment but even at 35, he's easily the best player in the Juve squad. Juve have scored a total of 7 goals in CL knockout games over the past two seasons and Ronaldo has scored all of them in addition to the 52 goals + 15 assists he's gotten in the league over the past 2 seasons as well. The gamble on Ronaldo hasn't worked out only because Juve's higher ups have filled the team with too much dross. Juve's midfield in particular is fucking dire to watch.

Di Marzio reporting that Sarri's future is being considered. The only concrete candidate to replace him at the moment is Simeone Inzaghi. Alfredo Pedulla reported that Pochettino is a candidate as well.

ETA.

Di Marzio and Romano reporting that Pirlo is set to take over from Sarri. That is one seriously risky move given that Pirlo has no managerial experience. A quick google search says that he enrolled in the Uefa pro licence course in August 2019 and was appointed coach of Juve u23 in July 2020 but never actually took charge of a single match.
