Gaston de Foix
Stealing the lingam with the diamond inside is an obvious decision for Indy. But the screams of help leave him conflicted.

Gaston de Foix
So the PM is also a baddie (or at least a brainwashed one). Good to know.

Gaston de Foix
It's nice how Indian and West Indian (vodoo) are all mixed together in one compelling narrative.
Gaston de Foix
My SO insists I point out the misogyny of the kid saving the "spoiled songbird" who seems unable to take even the simplest actions to save herself. Hard to argue with her.

Gaston de Foix
Just realized that I've been on the ride based on the wagoncar scene. Disney or Universal studios I think.

Most people think The Last Crusade is the second best of the four. Watch the beginning at least, (Skip the fourth film if you don't love the character). Wilbur
The Last Crusade is a nice capstone on the trilogy, and if you enjoyed the first two, then the third is pretty much a must-see film. By the time he made this one, though, Spielberg had stopped taking chances with his films. So it is a pleasant jaunt, with fewer live-action flayings, beheadings, propellerings, burnings, heart-wrenchings, child slavery, famine, etc. A lot more "Hollywood" type of violence, where the gun shoots and people clutch their chests and fall over. And Shrieking Willie is not a character, while Sean Connery is, so there is that, too.
Rhom
Last Crusade may be the most quotable of the films. ”He chose... poorly.”
