Gaston de Foix
And George loses his courage again. And then finds it again. But at least we've clarified the proposition that in this world the time paradox does exist.

DaveSumm
Bit late to the party but Spielberg was only executive producer on this, Robert Zemeckis directed it. I envy you watching it for the first time, I saw it in the cinema on the 25th anniversary and it was incredible watching such a well known film with a big audience. Looks like a deliberate set up by Spielberg. Also the obvious melding of Star Trek/Wars designed to delight some and annoy others. Acccording to the dvd commentary, Spielberg’s involvement in these films was limited to convincing another producer to let the filmmakers keep the Back to the Future title.
