It wasn't in the piece @DanteGabriel linked, but Falwell has officially resigned from Liberty. I always assume these super religious right wingers who like to browbeat people about their sexuality are just projecting their own kinky thoughts.

Steve Bannon's wall perchance?

Which is why a lot of it missed. It's a lot smaller than advertised.

Let's be honest, getting your jollies by watching your wife have consensual sex with the (over 18 I assume) pool boy isn't the freakiest shit people associated with Trump have got up to. It is basically normal given menage-a-trois is on the bucket list of probably more than 50% of the population regardless of sexual orientation. Moral hypocrisy though...well that's also kinda normal but still frowned upon as if it shouldn't be normal.

Moral hypocrisy is a-okay as long as you are owning the libs.

Or as long as you are making lots of money, then you're a successful job creator. Or if you are oppressing the minority of choice for the day. Or if you are working to dismantle many of the liberal government programs that keep good, hard-working Americans from pulling themselves up by their boot straps.

Okay, I guess maybe it's okay to be a morally hypocritical troglodyte pretty much all the time, then.

Well I guess he'll just have to get fired then. There's no way he can go back. But as was said, it was nice to see him publicly throw his wife under the bus to try and save his job.

Party of family values, amirite?

Personal responsibility for thee but not for me.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy, but it is lousy to see anyone getting 'cancelled' for consensual sex between adults.

Yeah, before anyone gets too gloaty, didn't Katie Hill get cancelled for almost exactly the same thing?

When your whole life is based upon legislating the morality of others, this is called getting hoisted on your own cucktard.

Not really. She stopped because she couldn't deal with the stream of revenge porn she had to deal with. People weren't calling for her to resign; she was harassed out of office.

The stupid comparison between someone who had to leave because of actual harassment and having to leave a job because you misrepresented your moral position is really lame and is why this bullshit cancel garbage is so full of shit.

I'm here too. I really don't care at all about what consenting adults do behind closed doors. Have a blast for all I care, I know I do, but when you butter your bread by shaming and demeaning people for doing the exact same things you're doing, go fuck yourself. This dude especially.

No. She got slut shamed from revenge porn. I had no problem with her having a three way while smoking some weed. Sounds like fun. She, however, wasn't shaming people for this type of behavior. And thankfully now that time has passed she's been able to return to being a contributor on some networks.

I'm not saying we shouldn't engage in some schadenfreude; just that we should make clear where we're drawing the distinctions. I pay close attention to this stuff and I wasn't aware of the differences, so how do we expect someone less informed than me to do so?

That's it - I have no desire to otherwise interfere with Falwell getting his comeuppance.

I'm ready for the madness, I hope it is fucking insane.

not even 5 minutes in they mention religious persecution (presumably of Christians) and human trafficking. It's gonna be a good night.

Is Charlie Kirk's head too big, or is his face too small?

Big chin, eyes close together, flabby face.

Teachers’ voices have been silenced? Spit upon by union leaders? I did not have that on the bingo card.

Re-wrote history? Really? Unions do that? I thought it was state boards that approve text book?

And unions trap children in public schools? Lol!

I don't really care one way or another how folks less informed than you figure out the differences. If you can't figure out the difference between someone employed at a religious university and how they should be treated vs. how an elected official should be treated with respect to their sexual choices, that's on you. If you don't care to dig into it more, that's also on you.
