Yeah, though in fairness in most leagues including the official FPL one it doesn't really come into play as much because only three players per game get any points for them and they're often just the assist and goalscorers. The focus is to play line-breaking passes as early in the move as possible, which causes havoc when it works but does lead to cheap possession surrender when it doesn't.
