One would guess that we’re likely to hear about the first castings by the end of the year or early next year at the latest. Well, actually there's been quite a bit of news: confirmed reports by Redanian Intelligence on casting sheets for Rhaenyra, Alicent, and Daemon. At the start of the war Rhaenyra had already experienced multiple births, was becoming increasingly "stout"(read obese), and was excessively fond of eating.
