Oh man, I mentioned in a previous thread seeing some of those Ernst ads when I was over staying on the border a couple weeks ago...those were some of the worst politcal ads ever made. Now, that was probably because of the Sturgis rally more than anything, but that is an astonishing number of cases. If it was South Dakota where 1% of people had tested positive it could be reasonable to blame it on Sturgis, but I don't see how that's a logical conclusion for North Dakota. Are there that many motorcyclists in North Dakota who would have brought it back with them? And the way the highways run out there, very few people who live in other places would have gone through North Dakota on the way to or from Sturgis. I would assume there's a fair amount of traffic between the two states, even if that is echoes of sturgis rather than the immediate infections from the rally itself.
