Crakehall Women assessments

So in ASOIAF, we hear two different assessments of Crakehall women. Walder Frey says in AGOT, Catelyn IX that

Quote

All the Crakehall women are sluts.

While on the other hand Catelyn says that Crakehall women are robust and good for childbearing.

Is Catelyn unaware of the Crakehall reputation? Not exactly conducive for finding spouses if you're known for sleeping around.

Those two different traits aren’t mutually exclusive.

Plus, can we really trust Walder Frey’s assessments of women? Though now that you mention it, it is interesting that Strongboar resembles Robert so much...

I'm pretty sure that Lyle inherited his physical appearance because the people from House Crakehall are Baratheon-like. Robert couldn't be Lyle's father, the timelines don't work at all.

Robert may not have been the father of Strongboar, but there are links between Robert and boars. Worth keeping an eye on Strongboar.

As for the Crakehall women, I think Gatehouse Amy is due to play a key role in the upcoming book. Walder's description may be apt for her, but she is a very canny player and has big ambitions.

Walder's been around a long time.  I would accept his opinion on many things.

Like his misogyny, womanizing, bigotry, cruelty and apathy, fickleness and whatnot? Age doesn't say what's right and whats wrong. Or else Walder Frey would be the Pope and Tywin would be the Saint head

Don't forget the Red Wedding. Ancient laws or not, that was inhumane, cruel and sadistic (extremely). No BS about how Robb wronged him and shit. Nothing warrants such a punishment, and least of all a slight to protect another woman's honor (stupid Ned's honorable blood).

The Crakehalls are robust.  Cat wasn't looking for beauty.  Robb faced danger every day because he is a rebel.  Cat wants an heir.
