Hostage-type negotations and then he lives? He keeps living there and everyone ignores him? Also, what is his future? Jail? TV? Some other office? Fleeing the country? Future: he'll skate through a lot of the bullshit. Not the foreclosures and bankruptcies, though. He'll remain more or less adored by his boot-lickers but otherwise will be even more of a social pariah in the circles he'd like to frequent, and an absolute joke internationally. From there he pins his financial hopes on a book deal, OANN, and speaking wherever they'll have him to trigger the libs...but all of this slowly runs its course and eventually even his own followers tire of him as more recordings of him saying all sorts of awful things come out, possibly about his own supporters. Investigations about his bizarre relationship with Russia continue, possibly drawing other Repubs like Graham. Russia might also release whatever dirt they have once Trump is useless, just to show how America was duped into putting this conman in the Oval Office. He has serious legal issues, but faces no jail time. Runs out the clock, basically. And dies a few years later. Also, in the mean-time he practices politics via Twitter.
