However much Bowen Marsh may have disapproved of Jon, nothing good was going to come from killing him, because a house divided against itself will not stand. Bowen Marsh has in fact, caused a huge mess.

The mess is huge.  The situation is bad and you can blame that on Jon Snow.  It was going to get worse if Bowen Marsh had allowed Jon to lead the wildling attack on the Boltons.

I bet it gets worse if the Bolton's attack the Wall...

No but seriously.

Why do we care about the Boltons so much?

Like Ramsay Bolton was up at the Dreadfort with an army (which might've been the largest army in the North) but did absolutely nothing to relieve or support the Night's Watch. Stannis Baratheon, however, travelled 1500 miles to relieve the Night's Watch.

But yet, we're demonizing Jon Snow for 1) accepting Stannis' help and 2) negotiating with Stannis to put the Night's Watch in a better position.

Not to say that the Mance Rayder issue isn't an issue (because it is a HUGE issue) but come on.

Killing your Lord Commander is not making your situation any better.

There you go again, bringing logic and reason into fanfiction. I mean, Jon wasn't perfect, but he made some big decisions that would've helped the Nights Watch in the long term. But he's evil for wanting to free his psycho little sister from the hands of sweet, innocent Ramsay Snow.

Put yourself in BM's shoes.  Jon created immeasurable damage at the wall.  How would you clean up Jon's mess?

Tormund should be smart enough to let Jon's death go.  There are other more important things to do.  The wildlings and the watch should make peace and work together to protect the wall from the others.

Lol. What do you think Jon was trying to do? Did you even read the book?

Tormund was an ally of Jon, in working together to protect the Wall.

He liked Jon, but is too practical to let personal preferences get in his way. He gave a hundred wildling hostages to the Watch and would probably avoid conflict for the sake of them keeping their heads.

But that is only if Marsh treats the wildlings as allies. Marsh is a Steward and one of his consistent concerns is the winter food supplies. Jon had all the Free Folk who were willing to fight on equal rations with the NW, and non-fighters at barely sustainance level, what happens if Marsh cuts that share?

Help is needed and very soon.  He's out numbered by the free folk.  Here's to hoping Thorne comes back in time to save the day.  They will have to repair the social and political rift with the Boltons.

He won't save the day if he comes back Ser Wight.  Ser Alliser the Wight and Jon Wight will finally get along.

Jon being alive is a threat to a favorite character and there is fear that he will steal Dany's thunder.

Jon is no threat to Daenerys. She is Azor Ahai, her beauty and intelligence are unrivalled, and she has three dragons that are filled with life and vigor. The wolf halfblood cannot even pose a threat to her.
