Probably a side effect of the vaccination? Get some rest during the weekend. :)

Yeah, I think so. I also have headache and a feeling as if I wanted to sleep all the time.

Thanks^_^ I will do it.

PW hurt his leg on Saturday, and he’s very unwell. It appeared on Sunday and early Monday that he was doing better but it’s turned for the worse yesterday evening. Mum‘s with him at the vet’s now, I really hope this is fixable and we won’t need to euthanize him. If the vet says so though, I’ll go home tonight or tomorrow morning to say goodbye and be there with him. I suppose sister will want to have that chance too.

I hope it can get better and I send a virtual hug:grouphug:, be strong.

Good luck to Prince W.

Travelling to shithole of a city again, starting tomorrow. I really, really hoped I wouldn't need to go back up there again, and yet here I am. I would much rather spend my summer somewhere actually enjoyable. Like, in my home city, meeting up with a nice gentleman.

I am already counting down the days till I return, and I haven't even packed yet.

Wait, the shithole city is which one again? Where you work? Or somewhere else? Anyway, I’m sorry you have to spend time there when you’d rather be enjoying the summer elsewhere.

The vet said PW didn’t even strain/dislocate his shoulder at all. He was bitten, which is incomprehensible to me. Like when, where, by whom? My mum never found any trace of external injury on him. Anyway, his leg’s edematous and he probably got an infection because he had fever. Got antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicine, he should be okay.

The one city in Germany that my uni always cooperates with, but is literally the most boring place in the world. I am going to be spending more than two weeks there, supposed to be working on my dissertation. At least I won't be alone this time over. But I am still dreading it.

Odd about the prince. But he should recover soon, I hope.

I'm glad Prince W. Is fine!

Well, I finally got my grade, so all my electives are done and now, these months on, I will concentrate on the Thesis, hopefully truing to find a job or internship in October or November.

I'm not motivated for doing it, though. My specialisation/minor in Structures should permit me do what I wanna do, a gym, but it's still not as much compared to what civil engineers or architects know in terms of global idea. And I feel quite tired, not sure how to even start it, not to mention the description I wrote covers so many disciplines, and now it's just a megalomaniac monster in front of me, waiting...

These days/weeks beofre I still have sone pendong work to be done that I had already been paid from my ex mini job at the uni cause I had exams... But I wanna finish it as soon as possible. Good things is that I have been visiting some friends for some days, so I feel.energised, despite the heat.

I accepted teaching summer classes to the place I had stopped teaching year and 4 months ago, when covid suddenly appeared. Not motivated either, but I need it. I just accepted I will never get out of my parent's home. (???) I hope I can find a job this Fall.

Covid is raising a lot with Rh of 3. Something.

More random things...yesterday I played with a Siamese cat, and that brought me moments of total joy...reminding me I will have a cat of my own one day...

Tomorrow I'm gonna cut my hair. It's extremely long now, much past the waist but I'll keep it long anyway.

HUGE CONGRATS! :commie: it must have been an awfully difficult ride with covid but you got it done!!!

Totally sympathize with the lack of motivation and tiredness. Covid, summer heat… it just sucks the life out of one. Hope you find the right angle to focus your ideas. Good luck!

I met a friend yesterday and got to pet her dog. It was highly therapeutic. I definitely need to get a dog. And I will, for my 30th birthday at the very least. That’s still like 5 new waves and lockdowns away so we’re good.

Oooooh good luck!!! I got my hair done two weeks ago, and I think the stylist was a bit too preoccupied with ranting about covid so now my cut is unintentionally asymmetric. I wasn’t quite ready to let go of the length I managed to grow out during covid. But now the style is so disastrous that I need to entirely change to fix it so I’ll lose quite a bit of length too.

ah okay, got it. Well, maybe you’ll be able to make the most it. Stay safe, and you know, if a city or a day sucks, a cocktail always helps :leaving: (sorry, I’m slightly tipsy)

Yeah, I hope so, thanks!

I usually don't drink, but maybe this time this isn't such a bad idea after all. :p

Sitting on the crowded bus. I am travelling with a friend, but we couldn't find two seats together to sit together, booooo. It is going to be a very long bus ride.

Thanks! Yes, today I had a meet with one of the directors of the thesis and he told me that, indeed, I better do it for Jaunuary. The positive thing is that I still have two directors instead of one.

Oh! Then you have to return there...well, at least hair grows again, bht indeed this has to be fixed. Today I'm gonna tell them if they cut me the front part in 2000's layers with a pic of Jennifer Aniston. Not sure what will be the result xd.

So it’s now midnight. It’s down to 31C. The “coldest” it’s gonna get is 25C at 5am, which is supposed to last till 6am. It’s 27C inside, so I’m setting an alarm for 4 when it’s supposed to hit 26C to open windows till 7am. I don’t expect the room temp to go down, but maybe we can get some oxygen inside at least. Not that there’s a lot of oxygen outside.
it is supposed to rain tomorrow though and the daily max will only be 32C so that’s progress at least.
isn’t summer absolutely great?

Looks like I am in the only place that is currently rainy and atypically chill for this time of year. Shithole of a city, I told you.

Swap?

Anyway, it’s thundering now. I mean it’s 30C with 60% humidity and no air, so it basically feels like Thailand. Can’t tell if that’s better or worse than 38C dry heat.

Yesterday I went on a forest walk for the first time in 10 months or so. It felt so good. I am tired of the city.

This sounds great.

I am still in the shithole of a city, but it seems like less of a shithole this time because I have some friends with me and we can spend time together, so it feels better. I still wish to go home soon, but I suppose I could survive this thing without attacks of loneliness and depression this time.

Uhhhh. Awful weather. Today there was such a terrible rain shower that I was completely soaked in the less than ten minutes it took to come from uni to where I am staying, and the same for my colleagues. It is also way too cold for July.

Still ready to trade weathers. I’d give a lot for a week of 20C.
but I’m really sorry you got soaked, that’s annoying and unpleasant :(

Yesterday's shoes are still not completely dry. At least the rain wasn't as bad today.

Am alone in a waffle shop waiting for my waffles. I wanted to spend some time in company, but there were too many complications trying to reach a simple decision on where to go and what to eat/drink, so I just went and ordered waffles by myself.
