His resurrection could be explained away as bad information. He'd probably be accepted as King in the North as Ned Stark's son. Convincing anyone he's the heir to the Iron Throne is a hard sell even if he does find out. What's he going to say? His brother saw it in the trees? His dad's crazy frog eating friend told him?
