Soylent Brown
Really nice chest control and finish from Mane. A little surprising as all he'd done is fuck up a couple of simple passes up until then!
Soylent Brown
A frustrating first half overall. Henderson and Mane have been sloppy with the passing, and Curtis Jones is doing his thing where he take ten touches every time the ball comes to him and offering little else. Wilbur
If West Brom defend any deeper they will be sitting in the front row of the Anfield Road stand.
Soylent Brown
They're pushing forward a bit now and causing problems. They'll probably equalise soon. We could do with getting Ox and maybe Shaqiri on for Jones and Mane. Mane has been completely shite, goal aside.
Soylent Brown
Buy a fucking centre back, you utter halfwits.
Soylent Brown
We're apparently waiting for West Brom to equalise before making any (unenforced) changes.
ljkeane
That’s been coming for some time.
Soylent Brown
Curtis Jones has been fucking dreadful in the game. Sub the cunt off before he can do more harm. Fucking hell, Klopp is so slow to react sometimes.
Soylent Brown
There have been a number of poor performances, but really this is all on Klopp. We've been completely ineffective for the majority of the game, and he's just stood there and left them to it. I think it's clear from this that Rhys Williams isn't going to make it as a Liverpool player either. Big Sam would have him for pace ffs.
Soylent Brown
And unless injuries force it, Curtis Jones should not be getting anywhere near the first team either. It's no use to us to have players who turn up once in every four games.

Give it more than two minutes before you write players off. Other than that, yeah, that was pretty shit.
Soylent Brown
If he has no pace, he isn't going to work in our system. He isn't going to magically discover some pace, this isn't like a player having a poor touch. We need two centre backs, because really we need to replace Matip too. ljkeane
There's 'no pace' and 'can't win a race with a Premier League striker from the opposition half'. I reckon 90% plus of the centre backs in world football lose out in that situation, including Matip and Fabinho. Gomez and van Dijk might be ok but they're notably quick for centrebacks. Williams might not make it but he's mostly been fine when he's played, including in this game.
Mark Antony
Dropping points against 4 out of the bottom 5 teams is worrying. Thiago really needed in games against low blocks.
Soylent Brown
We just need Klopp to actually fucking react, and withdraw the players who are having poor games quicker. It was clear by the end of the first half that we were struggling to do anything with the ball.

Ox was kinda shit when he came on though

Other than his pace, he has mostly done pretty well given his age, though of course he was directly responsible for Bergwijn's chances in the Spurs game. He should have been on at half time, well before we were chasing the win.
ljkeane
I don't think they think Oxlade-Chamberlain's ready for more than 10 minute cameos. They didn't bring him on any earlier in the Fulham game and that was basically an exhibition game in the second half.

I've given up on our biscuit players, they are never fit when you really need them, especially Kieta and Matip etc. If we're going to win the title this season ,it will have to be mostly without them. Apparently Klopp is happy with our current squad, been hearing we're not buying any CB in Jan. oh and Trent was shit again today.
