SeanF
The Trouble with Peace by Joe Abercrombie, a really solid middle book in his trilogy. History of the Peninsular War by Sir Charles Oman. An immense seven volume work, hugely scholarly, but at the same time, very readable. War of Wars, by Robert Harvey, a good overview of the Napoleonic Wars, even if some judgements are questionable. Nelson in Naples, by Jonathan North. Nelson does not emerge with much credit.
