I understand the impulse but I don't think having "domestic terrorism" being a crime in its own right would be a positive thing. It would one inevitably be abuses in horrific ways. Polish said as much upthread. I get your meaning but I don't think you have to worry. We went through this during the Michigan State riots in 1999. The local PD tracked down identified arrested and convicted all those invlolved. It took a few weeks and even months but it happened. Those were the days before YouTube social media and smartphones.
